You don't have to be the fastest, strongest or sportiest kid to be an athlete. An athlete is any kid who decides to get better — and this is their two weeks to train like one.
Proper strength and conditioning coaching, performance properly tested, a team to belong to and a profile to take home — for every kid aged 11–16.
This isn't only for the kids chasing a sport. It's for any kid who wants to get a bit stronger, faster or more confident — and learn what it actually takes to improve. Six coached sessions, led by our exercise scientists and run by multiple strength & conditioning coaches, with everyone screened into the right group. That's the whole idea behind the name: every kid gets the experience of a real athlete.
Learn the movements, get tested, train the qualities that matter, then battle on Game Day.
Hinge, squat, push, jump — done right before we load them. Everyone gets screened into the right group so the fortnight fits them.
This is where the standard gets set. Three coached sessions on the physical qualities behind the numbers — and on the 1%: intent, effort, doing the little things right. We coach the belief that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, and the points here are earned on exactly that.
The fortnight comes together in a round of team games. Effort points from Sessions 3–5 carry in, the leaderboard runs live, and prizes, an MVP and report cards get handed out.
In Session 3 every athlete gets a coloured wristband and their team. From there they train and bank effort points together — then those teams go head to head on Game Day.
Riley's base is strong and his squat pattern is solid — the home program leans into jump and sprint work to turn that into on-field speed.
Their own USC kit — worn on Game Day, kept for good.
Their own test results to chase and beat next block. Sample testing on the Three-Pack.
A simple plan to keep training between blocks — matched to what their profile says to fix.
A coach's write-up of the fortnight, plus the shot at Game Day MVP.
Any 3 of the 6 sessions. A taste of the block.
The whole block — training, testing, the tee, the profile, Game Day.
Loved the block and want to keep going? The Academy runs all year — kids can carry the momentum straight on. No one has to stop at two weeks.
A weekly Wednesday-afternoon Academy session at USC, running through the school terms — the same coaching, every week.
Programs to follow at home or at any gym, so training keeps ticking over between sessions and through the holidays.
For kids who catch the bug, our dedicated youth strength & conditioning program takes their training to the next level.
Broden heads up USC's Youth Academy. His belief is simple: every kid deserves the chance to train like a real athlete. Learn the movement patterns properly, enjoy the process of doing it, and build strength, confidence and fitness all at once — no matter where they're starting from.
He’s big on the education side too — kids leave understanding the beliefs and values behind training, plus the basics of fuelling and recovery, not just how to lift.
